Neil MacLeod
Partner
Neil is a Founding Partner of Halcyon. He has over 15 years experience having worked at top City firms (Nabarro), blue-chip financial institutions (Schroders) and property developers. Neil has extensive deal-structuring, property financing and asset management experience throughout the UK and Europe. Neil is responsible for deal origination and capital relationships, as well as the overall management of the company.
Dom Butler
Partner
Dom is a Founding Partner of Halcyon. Dom qualified at Nabarro as a corporate lawyer before spending three years at Queensgate Investments LLP transacting on operational real estate. Dom has worked at private equity, family office and development firms leading all aspects of deal sourcing and execution, debt and equity raising and asset management. Dom is responsible for deal origination and capital relationships, as well as the overall management of the company.
Russ Beresford
Partner
Russ is a Founding Partner of Halcyon with over 20 years’ experience in Property Development; including 10+ years at FTSE 100 REITS Hammerson and Landsec. Russ’ areas of expertise cover co-living and residential, large scale mixed- use developments, commercial office new build and refurbishment and retail park development sectors throughout the UK and Ireland. Russ leads the Development function at Halcyon.
Harry Manley
Head of Planning
Harry is Head of Planning at Halcyon. Harry has 12 years of experience in planning and development in London and the Southeast, having secured planning permission for a number of high profile sites across the bed sector. Alongside town planning Harry leads Halcyon’s engagement strategy, delivering genuine and impactful benefit for local communities from development.
Kieran Devenish
Associate Director of Construction
Kieran is Halcyon’s Associate Director of Construction. He is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 12 years’ experience in the development and construction industry with a track record in co-living, PBSA, hotel, BTR and BTS projects. Kieran manages the post planning and construction delivery phase of developments, driving detailed design, procurement and construction programme delivery within required budget and time constraints.
Nik Dyer
Associate Director of Development
Nik is Halcyon’s Associate Director of Development, with 12 years’ experience across all bed sectors within the UK and Ireland. Nik’s role spans the whole development lifecycle. Nik took both Sunday Mills and Florence Dock from acquisition all the way through to practical completion over the last 4 years and now oversees vision and delivery for the next generation of projects in our portfolio. Nik also spearheads Halcyon’s sustainability and corporate responsibility agendas.
James Knight
Senior Development Manager
James is a Senior Development Manager with 8 years’ experience working across a number of different residential use classes including co-living, later living, BTR and BTS developments, all in London. James’ experience covers all stages of the development lifecycle, from managing acquisitions, right through to handover of assets post construction completion. James was instrumental in delivering The Palm House.
